Applications are the third-party services you connect to Action — like Slack, GitHub, or ServiceNow — so agents and workflows can use their tools.

Connect an application

Open Applications to see connected and available services. Choose an application, complete the connection flow, and confirm it is connected. An application’s status may show as available, connecting, connected, or error.

Add an application to an agent

In the agent editor, add the applications the agent should use. Their tools then become available to that agent.

Limit tool access

When an application exposes multiple tools, select only the tools the agent needs. This keeps the agent focused and limits unnecessary access.

Review connections

Disconnect applications that are no longer needed, and review connected accounts periodically.
